چکیده
This study explores the novel design of geometric rubbing profiles on rotary friction welding for enhanced mechanical clamping in joining dissimilar alloys such as copper and stainless steel 316L. The behavior could hold yielding weld joint to a maximum level. An innovative approach effective mixing weldment zone be achieved through definition profiles. dispersion metallic phases governed by geometrical profile achieving intermetallic SS-Cu phase. Variations were made parameters like tool rotational speed, upset pressure, time, time find appropriate process four different profiles, namely helical fluke, plus, cylindrical, flat achieve reduction micro macro-structural defects with strong nugget. Results show that fluke seen have explicit values ultimate tensile strength 217 MPa (upset pressure), elongation 9.8 % average hardness 125 HV (friction pressure) at Microstructural characteristics prove formation IMCs grain size cementite increases Vickers weldment.

Experimental Investigations on Microstructural and Mechanical Behavior of Friction Stir Welded Aluminum Matrix Composite
The welding of materials by applying Friction Stir Welding technique is a new solid-state joining technique. The main advantage of this method compared to the traditional joining process is that it minimizes problem-related to metal resolidification as the method incorporates no melting phase. In this experimental work, the effect of friction stir welding (FSW) technique on the microstructu...

In the present research, friction stir welding (FSW) process was used for butt joining of pure copper plate to 316L stainless steel plate. Mechanical properties and microstructural characteristics of the joint were evaluated by microhardness and tensile tests as well as optical and scanning electron microscope (SEM). It was found that microstructure of the weld nugget (WN) has fine grains where...
